Two fun girls weekends in a row!! WOW, I'm a lucky girl!

How sad is it that a couple of weekends ago now, I had TWO of the greatest weekends I have had in a long time(because they both involved only girls, no kids) and I haven't even had a chance to blog about them yet! First, we went to Las Vegas for Dion's baby shower. We went to the Nordstrom MAC counter and all had makeovers done, then we went shopping and ate at the Cheesecake factory. YUM!!! The Cheesecake factory is now my new favorite restaurant, I think I wanted to order about 8 things off of their menu. And $6 for a piece of cheesecake?!!! Definitely worth the 6 bucks!! We had a blast, we left at 10:30 in the morning and didn't get home until around 10:30 at night. What did we do for 12 hours?!!, we aren't sure, but it was really fun!

The next weekend I went with my mom and sister to the "Time out for women" event that was in Logan. I had to take Daxton because he is still nursing, so I was a little nervous about how a boy that can't even sit still for 10 seconds was going to sit in a conference center for 6 hours, but he managed. I brought his umbrella stroller in and sat it in the aisle, he did remarkably well. There was a lot of great speakers and some amazing music. It was a very uplifting day, and I am so glad I got to spend the day with my Mom and sister.

Daxton Says Mama, First!!!(Ha, Ha, Tony)

Yesterday when we were driving home from the gym, Daxton was in the back extremely hungry, and from his mouth I hear, "MAMA MAMAMAAAA MAAMAAAA." I knew that Tony would NEVER believe me, so last night he was doing it again, because he was hungry, of course!!! So, I got out the video camera to document the wonderful occasion, and so that I would have proof later of who he was calling for first!!! This morning, he was doing it again, and since Tony was home he got to witness it himself. Even he couldn't deny what his son was saying. I am sure I will find Tony in the next few days saying, "Dadadadada", to our son!!! He is a little jealous!!! He already has all of his girls wrapped around his finger, so I think that a deserve a Mommy's boy!

Sometimes bad things my kids do are funny!!!

So, I was sitting out in the courtyard talking, and here comes Kamren looking like this!!! She was giggling and grinning from ear to ear because she thought she was so funny!!! My first thought was NO, you can't write all over your face!! But in a split second I realized it was washable and decided it really isn't going to hurt anything. Once the other girls saw that she wasn't getting in trouble for it, they decided to write on their faces also. I also decided it looked fun and wrote Karlin's name on her forehead. Probably not the smartest thing I have ever let them do- they will probably move on to the walls next, but we had a good laugh over it and you would have thought that I had taken them someplace really fun or given them a whole bunch of candy by the way they were laughing!!!

Kamren's first day of preschool, and WOW do I feel free!!!

Yesterday was Kamren's first day, and it went WAY better than I had played it out in my mind. I thought she was going to scream and cry like she does every time I try to leave her somewhere!!! But, she didn't!!! She was a little leery at first, she wanted me to sit with her while she painted. As soon as she started to paint, I seemed to not be so important anymore and she started talking away and completely forgot about me. That was my Q to leave, so I tip-toes out of there and smiled all the way to the gym realizing that I had NO, did you get that NO, kids in my car that I needed to drag along with me!!!! It was a great feeling, I just can't wait until next Tuesday when I can drop her off again, hopeful it goes just as smooth!
